Cute Discolored Shoes Using Bleach!
We decided to bleach our sneakers!
The color changes depending on how long you submerge the shoes.
It’s easy to do since all you need is bleach ♪
■ What you need:
・ Canvas sneakers
・ A container large enough for shoes
・ Liquid type chlorine bleach
・ Vinyl gloves
1. Make sure the sneakers are totally submerged.
2. Put a lot of warm water in the container to soak the sneakers.
3. Add 25 ml of chlorine bleach to 2 liters of water.
※ The amount is a guide only. Please adjust the amount according your desired finish.
4. Take out your sneakers.
5. Soak for 1 hour.
6. Wash thoroughly to avoid leaving bleach.
■ Tips for Success:
・Please remove the shoelace.
・To can prevent uneven color, extend any wrinkles or folds. The heels of shoes and wrinkles on the back can easily be uneven, so stretch well.
・ If you are using shoes that you have already worn several times, stuff a towel or cloth in the shoes and it will work well as long as you stretch out any folds in the same way!
・ Because overlapping parts also cause color unevenness, please do not overlap.
(The sides and the middle of the shoes in particular often overlap.)
・ In the video, 25 ml of bleach is used for 2 liters of water, but the color disappears faster when the concentration is higher.
・ Because the color looks dark when it is wet, we recommend to wash it once if you want to see how it looks and dry it with a dryer!
※ Always use gloves when working.
※ Please do this out of the reach of children.
