Coming from the idea that good “Italian food is not a luxury,” Mercato Metropolitano is set in a space of about 15000 square meters that once was Porta Genova Railway Station. It’s a huge market with produce farmers, street food, and regional specialities. After the 2015 Expo, Mercato Metropolitano will set off to Japan to raise awareness about the Italian agri-food industry. The variety available is great and the quality is always of the highest!
