I went to Torayakaryou in Akasaka Mitsuke! In the basement of the Toraya official store, there is a cafe by Toraya called Torayakaryou. Toraya is famous for their Japanese sweets, And here, they have been selling shaved ice just during the summer time since 1974! The interior is rich and luxurious bur a nice relaxing atmosphere! I ordered the Ujikintoki shaved ice, with added toppings of rice flour dumplings and condensed milk. This filling shaved ice is drizzled with a generous amount of delicious matcha syrup. The ice is shaved thickly, but when the syrup is mixed together it does not crunch but rather melts smoothly in your mouth. At the bottom of the bow, there was a layer of delicious red bean paste! the mix of rich match syrup and condensed milk with red bean is just delicious for red bean lovers! The shaved ice I had at Torayakaryou was seriously the best shaved ice I have ever had! I really recommend it ! They are selling the shaved ice until 9/30, so please check it out!
